Tesco sell PS3

Just popped into the local tesco 24 there and they said they will be selling the PS3 tomorrow - no bundles but if you buy a console you get a free game!!! I believe Resistance/F1 are some of the options.

Console is 629.99 - plenty of clubcard points for your ma!!!!!

edit-as they are 24/7 I forgot to ask if they would be selling at midnight :E source was one of the daily rags this morning - they have nothing up in the store I was in about it.

That is a great deal alright....saw ad for it in the examiner today. although i believe the games are resistance or motorstorm

Yup. Resistance and Motorstorm are indeed the games you have to pick from. 'Tis not a wide variety, but it's still a better deal than any other store. I'm still considering buying a PS3 from VideoGamesPlus.com in Canada. It's about €150 cheaper, and the games are only €45-ish.

so when you buy a ps3 you get either resistence or motorstorm free?? if true thats lethal and now know where ill be getting my ps3 from..ill just pick up formula one and a controller as well if there there hopefully they are..

plus tesco is open 24 hours..midnight launch :P

just check your local store is stocking it as small print says only larger stores will be stocking it.

I can tolerate just over €600 with a game but anything more just pushes it out of the impulse buy bracket. Can get 10% off this too

That was a 25% off electronics and toys offer to get things moving before Christmas. The 360 just happened to fall into that category (along with TVs, toasters and...er...tamagotchis >_>). I'm sure jarvis will let us know if anything like that is in the pipeline again. I'd say Tesco will be quicker to knock off 25% than Sony will be

Picked mine up with Resistance last night

got it for €569.. Happy days. Am quite impressed with how heavy and quiet the thing is to be honest.

just got mine an hour ago in tesco..ps3 +motorstorm for 629.95..if you decide just to get the ps3 without a game i think the girl said that its more like 565.00 or something like that..but i took the game :P

happy now..just got get all the extras later like router,hdmi cable and not forgetting me 40" lcd which ill order later..

i got my ps3 in tesco clearwater finglas...there were five left on shelve behind customer service desk at about 10am or so this morning
