Blocked incoming UDP

    Ok I just looked through my router log. and I notice that it says "blocked incoming UDP " and then gives an ip address. does anyone know or have an idea as top what this could be?

    Someone's poking at your router. I have a Netgear. It kindly emails me when such an attack happens.

    To reduce how often this happens, make sure your router is not remotely accessible on port 80 [the default for nearly every website, e.g. [url]www.boards.ie:80[/url]].

    Here's some tech detail on UDP.

    It may well be harmless but if you see 'DOS' in the same line of the log entry, you can be sure it's not.
