First report on BC with PAL PS3.......not good, but as the article states, its unconfirmed and with an older firmware revision....Jap and US systems are already on 1.54.. http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=38191

Sony are keeping the list to themselves for PR reasons. TBH I can't blame them. Even if the list has most of PS2 games as BC since not every game is BC there will be games not on the list. Then you will get some one like me getting annoyed that Gitaroo Hero / Bang! Bang! Ultimate Banana vs. Sushi Melodrama Love School / Panzer Dragoon Orta (yes MS that last one is aimed at you) or some other piece of videogaming obscura isn't compatible. Sony really don't need any more negative press and a BC compatibility list is nothing but negative press.
