Hormone Imbalance

Hi, Thought someone might be able to help. My girlfriend is convinced she has a hormonal imbalance and she is going for a test in the morning. I was wondering if anyone had some more information on the subject directly related to experiences. What age groups does it affect?? Is it unlikely to occur in certain age groups…

Also is there anything that can be done to help naturally i.e. excercise anything. I just wanna help out if I can so any advice is grateful.
