Good chatrooms?

Ok so MSN rooms are gone, Yahoo ones are full of trolls trying to sell webcam "hotties" and IRC sucks monkey balls. Are there any good Dublin/Irish chatrooms to spend a couple of hours in on a boring Sunday?

True, it would be just the same as closing niteclubs because they were responsible for date-rape. Still it is important to make people aware that you can't take anything for granted when chatting to people you don't know on the internet and perverts don't always look and act the way they're portrayed in the movies.

Slow day in work so i thought id try Second Life to see what all the fuss was about. WTF? After taking ten mins to fill out details and installing software my "avatar" failed to appear and interaction with other characters on the "training island" was impossible. I feel all nerdy

Well a sure fire way to stop the "internet caused" rapes is to have kids go out and actually talk to their friends instead of posting every detail of their lives on the internet. But sure, if they did that, they may not grow up as fat and unhealthy and I'd have no one to laugh at.

can the mods of this forum or a passing Smod please ip check and id check this poster to ensure the are not a shill, seems suspect to me to raise such a ruckus over chat rooms and claim techincal ineptitude and then
start pushing a site like that one.

I don't see what Saskia has against IRC, it does its job, is well moderated and isn't full of cyber-sex seeking 12 year olds/60 year old men. Unless thats what Saskia is looking for, in which case she has some cheek calling others nerds.

Get a blog or but the link in your sig after hours does not exist to drum up playmates for you when you are ment to be working.
Oh and you for get to mention it is an 18 rated site which may get people in trouble with thier job for acessing it and it is not fit for minors and the constant harasshing cybour requests make the place irrating.

Considering the adult nature of the cahts and that is an 18 and over site I would not be surpised if your p,ace of work blokced it.

Sure you could have a written warning heading your way dependsing on your hr policy on abusing the internet at work.
