If somebody from PPP could contact me to look into it - it would be very much appreciated.

How do I solve this and am I the only one at this time still failing to get in, and I keep recieving the message "Due to technical problems you cannot login to the poker" :(

im getting the same error, i tried changing my sports book password to an 8 digit pw but to no avail.. Im thinking could it have anything to do with deposit method i.e bookies.

I much prefer the old style too. Not only the design but I usually just play heads up and I was so used to 2,000 chips start. Now it's 1,000. I can't stand Party poker and this new design is a lot more like Party.

never post in here until i just upgraded to that sh1te software from PPP. Some1 should be sacked for this.

    Raise bar is crap.Bring back x2 x4 ...
locating a table is rediculously hard for some reason.
Have to use a magnifying glass to see the amount of chips or cash you have at a table.
    Cards are to small.

Any1 know of poker site similar to old PPP. want to jump ship.

Does anyone know if any rooms will persist with the Tribecca software?? Upon confirmation of this point I can continue to cackle loudly.

SportingIndex poker are continuing with Tribeca for the next week anyway if you get nostalgic.
They send me an email saying I might have noticed that there are less people than normal logged on these days :) , and that they would send me details of an exciting upgrade to 'Europes biggest poker room' over the next few days.

Its a dead-zone at the moment, about 300 people logged on, most of them in the lobby complaining.

tbh the software's not great, I wouldn't mind keeping tribeca. esp if loads of fish hate it now and quit/move.

edit: although I may be somewhat biased cause that's where I first played, and I'm after putting in 80k+ hands there is the last couple of months. And I have no interest in donkaments obviously.

Please expand? What attracts fish to Tribeca software? I'm 13 months playing poker. I'm a poker novice but I'm certainly not a fish. I found the old PPP fantastic. I don't know what people see in the likes of Party Poker.

I'd probably win 70-75% of my $5 and $10 heads ups. I'm bloody losing more than I'm winning on the new software. :)

It's all bright and friendly with big cards, and 2x/4x buttons to make it easy to use.

It's not that the old software was great, it's more that that's what they were used to. Most have accounts with bookmakers and joined up that way.

As much as I hate to pass judgement in haste,
    this has to be said.

Whoever is responsible for the new platforms software
clearly did not care one iota about making it user friendly.

The screen is way too cluttered and most of the
critical information is too small and awkward to see.
eg: pocket cards, blind level etc.
The dealer button is even located to the right of that players cards!!!

I had to wait 40minutes to get a $10 S'n'G filled as well.
All and all A pretty ugly initial experience.
Shame on PPP if this is the product they intend to continue offering.

Well, the fish aren't happy. You can hear the increased noise level of complaint from PPP // VC lurkers in this and other threads over the past couple of days. But nothing can be done about it - tribecca is gone. And that software was rubbish also, with a different set of problems.
    i know :(

I'd certainly prefer big and friendly with big cards over empty seats (what's the point?) or worse, characters. Playing heads up the 2x/4x buttons were ideal. I'd fly through a game. I don't mind the current bar, you just click to the right of it to get 2x, 3x, etc. Party Poker though you have to type in the amount you want to raise which is pretty annoying. Also the fact that you pay double the rake with party. I don't know that site is so popular. :)

    - it tells you your current best hand as default and what you folded is constantly displayed as the rest of the hand without you takes place. Oh no! - think people as their fold of a suited 63 would have flopped a flush - even though this is rubbish as the random RNG means that the flop is a matter of timing and would be completely different if you had called one second later // earlier, eic.

Lloyd, I agree with your analysis except on the 'telling you your best hand' and 'showing what you folded' options. The latter was especially useful to me (and I humbly consider myself a non-fish).

If I fold 74 offsuit, and then see 2 fours on the flop and another on the river, I'm not too unhappy (as I know how the RNG timing works as you said).

However if I see a player on the river betting 2xPot and I know he obviously couldn't have a 4, then I am being given a lorry-load of information about that player.

OK, I can still get that info from HH etc, but it was handy being able to see it at a glance on the screen, especially when multitabling.

Also, re the 2x4x buttons, the first time that I would see someone not using these buttons but still making a sensible bet, e.g, a nice open raise to 350 at the 50/100 level in an STT, then I could peg them as likely a 'thinking' player. So the presense of the 2x4x buttons was useful in indirect ways.

Hi all. I am going to keep addressing your queries as best as I can.

Login Issues - Error (Cannot login "Technical difficulties" - This was caused yesterday evening due to a massive surge of registration attemtps at the same time, we have anticipated an extremely high load but had anticipated coming back online earlier when there would have been less traffic. We were unpreapared for the sheer volume of login attempts.
This issues has been 90% resolved althought we have a remaining problem with several hundred accounts being "Locked" we are clearing these currently and will be contacting all affected customers.

Username change: When logiing into the new software you need to use your SPORTSBOOK username and password. Your old poker screen name has now become your new poker "Nickname" and the old password is defunct. SPORTSBOOK username and password is the combination you would have used to login to paddypower.com. It is the account your would have either Linked to after setting up your old poker play money account your "REAL MONEY" account details. We are scrapping the requirement to use two account and usernames at it was on the old software.
    Details here:
    http://www.paddypowerpoker.com/downloads/download-upgrade.php
If you do not know your sportsbook username or password you can email poker@paddypower.com give them your Old poker screen-name and provide the answers to your pre-set secutiry questions and we will sort this out for you.

Paddy Point Conversion: Points on the new network have a higher value than the points that were on the old software, we have converted your points at a ratio of 5-1. You can see this reflected in the price of goods in the P4P store they are now 5x less points. We have not taken points away but converted them.

Account Balance: You will now need to Transfer funds from your Sportsbook account into poker. If you had funds in your account they are still there you just need to visit the "My Account" section and transfer whatever funds you require into your poker account.

Customer repononse time: I apologise sincerly for the current delays in both getting our team on the phone or answers via email. We have a full team working around the clock to try and clear the back log and get to you as soon as possible however we are severly under pressure at the moment. If I can personally assist any of you please feel free to pm me and I will do what I can to help.

I am currently updating the website with more information on new login ins, new cashier functions and will provide you with a URL as soon as this is done.
I will also try to address the individual feedback you have given above.

I sincerly apologise for the inconvenience this has caused and I assure you we are pulling out all the stops to resolve all outstanding issues.

    Kind Regards

    Nikki

    Anyone had same problem?
