Bought "new" hard to find PS2 games off ebay

    Bought two copies of Wipeout Fusion as gifts for my brother and kid newphew for christmas only to learn the following week that when the latter removed the plastic wrapping and opened the case the disc was scratched to pieces.

    Followed ebay's instructions and reported this to the supplier not to receive a response.

    Used the dispute console 'Report an Item Not Received or Not as Described' to no end or success. Ebay's automatic 'verdict' was that basically the seller isn't interested in resolving the issue.

    I'd copy and paste the text of this but for whatever reason the dispute is no longer listed in the dispute console and yes i did select 'Within the last 18 months'.

    Is there anywhere I can go from here?

    I could ring ebay/paypal but is there any point?

    Was it an eBay or Paypal dispute? With the paypal dispute you need to elevate it to a claim within so many days (not sure how many exactly).

    Im not sure what went on with your dispute, but certainly email eBay and see what they say.
