There are many to be found, but here are some i would recommend:

The International Bar
Wicklow Street
Monday Nights - 9:00pm
A night of music from all sorts.

Anseo on Camden Street
Every Thursday night - 9:00pm(usually)
Music and comedy.

and then of course there is The Ha' Penny Bridge Inn.
Every Tuesday night @ 9:30 or so.
Mixture of all things comedy and music.

There most certainly isn't a shortage anyhow, however the above are venues I have played and therefore would highly recommend.
