i smell bad......

    :eek: well im not really sure what im looking for here, but i tell the story anyway and hope that maybe someone else has suffered the same thing...
    for the past few months almost everytime me and my boyfriend have sex there has been a really bad odour that comes from us(and before you ask we shower almost every day!!!)
    its really starting to worry me as when we get off without intercourse there is no odour. we can smell it straight after the deed.
    i know im not very clear here but i hope someone might be able to offer some suggestions.
    i know we dont have and sti's etc...

    Sounds like a reaction of both your bodily fluids.
    I would sugeest that you both drink more water and eat more fruit as diet can effect the taste smell and consistancy of what your body produces.

    Lay off the dairy, coffee and processed foods. By processed I mean anything like pizzas, jars sauce, microwave meals, mcdonalds etc. Remember: just because it says 'finest' on the label doesn't mean it's not crap.

    is it really foul or just unusual. You have a mix of both bodily fluids and of course existing body odour, not necessarily foul just different.

    Go to your doctor. There are bacterial organisms which can cause smells but which are not classed as STIs. The most common would be Gardnerella vaginalis. It is associated with a fishy smell.
    Best to rule it out
