Anybody know how to do it?
I mean use a font that isn't originally in photoshop?
(Yes I am off on my silly watermark hunt again)

    Cheers.

I always put the font in the fonts folder . Go to c drive, then in to windows folder look for folder called fonts, and paste any new ones in here that you want to use. They will automatically appear in photoshop after that.

Yep, just drag and drop into your Fonts folder. There is a shortcut to Fonts in Control Panel and they will be installed automatically. After that they should show up in PS(may require a restart).

Don't put fonts in the font folder. It gets messy. Install a font manager program so you can store them somewhere else and turn them on and off when you need.

Some include: Font Eplorer, Extensis Suitcase and Adobe Type Manager.
