After all my meandering questions about flyers 'n' stuff... I thought that I'd let you all know what we've been up to... Next tuesday, 16th Jan, we are opening an exhibition in Temple Bar Gallery & Studios which has as part of it stuff about the raves in caves that happened over in Engerland... you may remember a pile of lads that used to come over from Windermere... and some of the trips of the Dublin ladz over to there... Anyhow, also for the opening Colm Connolly is going to be on decks from about 7pm onwards and will be doing some old skool sounds until fairly late... So if you are around call in...

Also, for a bit of craic, we are doing a gig in Christ Church Cathedral on Valentines Night... We have a guy who has taken some of the classics below and turned them into music for the church organ... he'll be playing the stuff on Valentine's night at 8pm... will be about an hour long so plenty of time to go on out afterwards...

playlist for the night (changed utterly for the organ)

    Shooting Star ...................................Bang
    Midnight Express ...............................Hopscotch
    Braveheart .......................................Joining of the Clans
Stay with Me ....................................Sy & Demo
    Power of Love ...................................Q-Tex
Heart of Gold .....................................Force and Styles

with an extra one that is being chosen at the moment for premiering in Dublin...

    See yis all there

    Yo! Lads...

Anybody remember going to this - It's a flyer for the Music-Fair in the Asylum. WHAT!!! - a Music-Fair???? In the Asylum???... Yip, Thas Righhhht! ... I cant even remember myself if it went ahead. I've a few more original flyers here, I'll scan them over the weekend. Large Image - http://uk.geocities.com/rebuzzdefuzz/index.htm

By the way, Ive just been catching up on some of the posts here. Looks like there was some kind'a 'bitch-fest' nonsense going down, glad to see it's over and done with at this stage... If anybody gets the urge to let rip about - Who, What, When & Where, they should take a peek at this before they post. No disrespect intended. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5SaFTm2bcac

fcuk me there's a blast from the past i remember something about that as well, do you remember that old shop on Moore St called Storm or something used to sell Rave clothing and tapes and that?

There used to be a DJ on every Saturday and it was also a decent spot for picking up some "other party essentials as well;) :D

LMAO here. I used to go up to Dundalk on the coaches to PA's nightclub. Some buzz going up and down but heavy tac for a night out. Wouldn't do it now.

Think I have pictures from up there, I know Mick Walsh has some footage of us around that time. The good aul days but I think I might prefer a cleaner form of raving these days.......... :D

    A question for yis.

Do any of you still head into town on a Saturday night? I'd be out most weekend for any good dj's playing around town. I rarely, if never, see anybody that used to be out from Sides, Asylum, G1's, Ormond, Temple of Schemple etc. I know most of us are the wrong side of 30 now but I pretend othewise ;) I still get my kicks from dance music and only recently invested in the CDJ Pionner MKIII. Long time coming I know, but its some buzz. :D

Would yis be up to speed with all the good producers and dj's around at the moment like Trentemoller, Phonique, Spirit Catcher, Booka Shade etc etc?

Just wondering what people are into these days now that the old rave to the grave days are so long in the distance!!
