Too Soon?

I started seeing a guy and I slept with him pretty soon after our first date. I don't regret it or anything, it's not like it was either of our first times. I'm just a bit worried in case he thinks less of me for giving it up so soon!

Yeah, I know he had sex with me too, but in terms of getting into a relationship do people find that it's better to take things slower than this?

I wouldn't worry about it. With some people, sex can come first and good relationships can follow, although its not usually the case. You said you're seeing the guy, i.e. it wasn't some one night stand, so presumably there's some decorum and respect involved in the courting process. I'm assuming you don't know they guy too well yet though, so maybe keep an eye out for signs that he's just in it for the shagging. If so, get rid of him (unless thats what you want, of course). Otherwise, if you like the guy go with it and have fun.

Us guys don't usually complain when a girl doesn't keep us waiting for months. :)

Presumably you both wanted to, so where's the big deal?

If he has a bit of cop on, he will judge you for yourself, not by a calendar or some silly imaginary rules about "when?"

If he is immature enough to care about such things, or just looking for a notch on his bedpost, you will soon find out, and can act accordingly.

Everybody is different, so it depends upon the person.
