Hi, I'm sure you are all sick of reading these threads about girls messing up their pill. Anyway bit of help please: Wednesday: I took my pill at 6pm. Thursday: I forgot and didn't realise and I took it at 5am Friday: It's half five p.m now I'm going to take it. Do I need to be extra careful with sex now for 7 days,…

Hi, I'm sure you are all sick of reading these threads about girls messing up their pill. Anyway bit of help please:

Do I need to be extra careful with sex now for 7 days, because I took it late. Does anyone know. Thankyou.

That depends on the type of pill how long you were on it were abouts in the packet you are.
I suggest you read the instructions that came with your perscription if that does not help ring and ask your dr or you pharmacist.
Insuch matters is best to be safe then sorry and if you can't get an answer from a medical professional to take extra contraception precautions.
