    Does any of you FMA lads know about AMOK Tom Sotis

    Can you tell me any info on this?

    He is doing a 6 day seminar in Thailand in May, and since we don't get much here, except Thai Boxing, I was thinking of going?

    (ya know to break the total boredom of daily Muay Thai, 90 degres sun shine and blue skys, cheapo living, nice beaches and palms trees, beautiful friendly women...yawn!!!!!) :p

    i dont know about them but they had a chapter in rey galangs book "masters of the blade" that contained the following gem on being cut when you train with live blades:


    "before you receive first aid, feel joy taste and drink your own blood, wipe it all over your face and make a blood mask. Give your blade a a bloodbath to quench its natural thirst. Make blood masks on your brothers who want one. Celebrate in this heightened state while everyone raises their blades in respect and shouts AMOK!!"

    I ll let you know after I do the 6 days seminar with them! I better sharpen my kitchen knife, just to have the edge! LOL! ;-)

    Actually I checked them out on the self protection forum, and alot of the top guys who post in there, some trained with AMOK in seminars, and the feedback has been positive.
