Ryanair hand luggage question

Firstly, if this is in the wrong section, feel free to move it to a more appropriate forum, and if it's been asked before, again, sorry.

Right, I'm flying to Bristol on Wednesday morning with Ryanair to collect a car with my dad. We've selected the online check-in with 0 bags and priority boarding for the flight. Just wondering if the usual hand luggage rules apply? Will I be safe enough bringing a GPS with a car mount as hand luggage, or even in my coat pocket?

    Cheers.

You should be, as they aren't prohibited AFAIK. You should have the same handbaggage allowance as Ryanair state when booking.
