Parking for Vicar Street?

Where's the handiest place to park if you're going to a gig in Vicar Street? My boyfriend always insists on parking on either Dawson or Nassau Street, but it's cold out and I don't want to have to walk that far! Surely there must be somewhere closer?

There is P&D parking on Thomas St and nearby streets (Posssibly free that time of night?). Also there is a car park at Jurys Christchurch.

There is a multi-storey just past NCAD. You can also get bus / Luas.

There is a network of small streets off Meath Street or Francis Street. I usually find a spot there.
