I think you both make valid arguments here, so to celebrate, here's a picture of Daniel Craig.

This afternoon, with my head in the toilet, I maintain I was attempting to feed it much in the same way seagulls do their young.

Been a while my old friend... Can anyone tell me why in the name of god anybody would lash back half a pint of sherry the instant before they go to bed at 6am after a night out?

    good point.
Christ. I never thought I'd see the day. I don't want to be part of a b.ie where ibid and Nietzschean agree on anything.

Good day to you all. Good day forever!

Actually yeah I agree, it's a weird feeling.

Ta for acknowledgement Nietzsch, but let's never do that again.

To all you Daniel Craig-haters: Yes, I know he's not the most gorgeous man ever. He's slightly scraggy looking. More than that, he looks a bit thrown together, like someone was in a rush making a Mr. Potato Head and just lashed the nose on at the last minute. But that's the whole point of Daniel Craig, and also why it doesn't matter for a second that he's not gorgeous - it's because he is very, very sexy.

I don't want some mind-blowingly dull Orlando Bloom/Justin Timberlake/James Morrisson man-child who has to try so desperately hard to persuade everyone how hot they look and how interesting they are. Bleurgh. How boring. If you have to constantly try to tell everyone how hot you are then odds are, you ain't all that. Give me a proper manly man any day. And that doesn't mean some knuckle-dragger with a prominent jaw and a penchant for hunting and gathering. It means someone who can hold a conversation, walk around with not much clothes on and still look good, and other such attributes. Although I've been thinking for a while and those two still seem the most important.

So kids, to sum up today's lesson: sexiness > gorgeous every single time. And that is why Daniel Craig is delicious. QED.

Ibid and I went to see Casino Royale last night. We found it a bit far-fetched.

I missed the "Mr.-Craig-coming-out-of-the-water" bit, because I was having an attack of laughter-cum-coughing, having seen the most ridiculous piece of cinema, in which a bikini-clad lady rides down a beach. Like, WTF?

Enda and I later went to practise our jumping around building sites. I can't believe Enda can only jump seventeen metres to land safely on an inch-wide strip of metal. Wimp.

Damn, I want a Ford and a Sony Ericsson. The computer systems in the film were hilarious.

On a slight aside, besides Daniel Craig, I think that Eva Green girl is very good-looking.

I don't actually hate him, in fact when he was declared as the new Bond I was happy - I thought he was brilliant in Layer Cake and looked forward to Bond.

Oh come off it, you totally headbutted the door while jumping through that car-window.

I was underwhelmed, partly because of the fact that she's French.

It's OK. It was a Ford.

    Agreed.

I've had to resort to making up references to mask the fact ALL my information has come from just four websites. The most reliable of which is wikipedia.

I'm just typing away about what I know in my head: "Ulster Bank is owned by the Royal Bank of Scotland Group. This means that...".

Beyond owning a PS2, my knowledge of the console industry is pretty weak. Ruth (whom I now adore) printed off loads of stuff for me from GMID, but I'm struggling to write my project in a way that makes it look like I haven't just copied and pasted it. Though stuff.

It's impossible to find accurate data about the banks' market shares, because they're all expressed in different ways.

Franco's question about discussing the opportunity, sunk, fixed and marginal costs in each sector is terrible. I have no intimate knowledge of marginal costs in the banking sector.

I think I'm in a state of complete and utter denial and I don't know what about. I keep avoiding social interaction and even the internet in case something sparks me out of it and I start to try and fix things.

AND DANIEL CRAIG IS AWESOMELY SEXY. and deep. Don't forget deep.

    and deep. Don't forget deep.
    How could you forget that?

I personally couldn't, but some other individual may, and as such i felt it important to remind them.

How do you know he's deep? Have you sat down and had long, intimate conversations with him concerning the origins of the universe, and its implications for mankind? Or are you simply assuming you know the art of divining the mind's construction in the face? That's a Shakespeare quote btw, to prove how cultured and wordly I am.

(Yes, I'm deliberately leaving myself wide open for piss-taking, because I haven't had a slagging match in weeks and I'm getting a bit antsy.)

I'm not going to take the piss out of you Pet, actually think you're right. I don't know if Daniel Craig is deep. Frankly, I don't really care. There's no need to project a personality of any kind on to him. I'm happy to have him as as piece of eye-candy, nothing more, nothing less.
