Colour blending into each other tats

Hi guru's, I've just finished designing a tat for myself where the colour goes from black to red to yellow as shown in the sample attached. I know this is doable but was wondering how manageable is it by your regular backstreet artist.

Also, if you have any tips to get the best result or if you could recommend any artists in Dublin who you think would handle this style comfortably, I'd be very grateful. Thx.

I wouldn't go to a backstreet artist, that implies to me that you're going to a scratcher type, the blends will have to be spot on on that, you need someone who is good at colour.

Personally I'd bring the design into Snakebite and have a chat with them.

Anything that can be described as "backstreet" should be avoided, whether it's tattooists or bands.

Well I didn't mean backstreet as in somewhere dodgy, just wanted to make sure it wasn't a specialised technique and that most artists could give it a fair shot.

Will try and have a chat in Snakebite and Zulu today, see what they say.

last week got a sun done on my shoulder (tribal crow inset) with the flames going from black to orange via red (black outline then)

had the work done in zulu and it looks pretty good now i'm v happy with it

the artist just blended the colours together and watered down where necessary i.e. where two colours joined
