Budget young couple holiday to Lanzarote?

    Hi everyone,
    The GF and I have decided to go for a hassle-free package holiday as it's our first holiday away and since we're just going to be finished exams we want a 'sponge in the sun' holiday!

    So we have decided on Lanzarote, I've been there before and I like it. Yes, it's very touristy, but it'll do us fine!

    We would like to go around the 5th June for 10 days. I know this is a bit of a silly question as June is peak season, but does anyone know anywhere online that we'd get a good deal? I'd like to stay in a nice apartment block, not quiet, not madness, so if anyone knows of a decent place for a young couple to go to in Lanzarote (Puerto Del Carmen) let me know!

    hi

    i was there in 2005, stayed for one week.
    we stayed in playa des pocillos, which is just beside puerto del carmen. Was awalk of around 30 minutes, but only needed to do this at night, when going into get something to eat. It was fine, plenty of shops along the way so didnt notice it at all. taxi home was around €2-3. Pocillos has its own beach, just as good as del carmens. just an option to keep in mind, if its too dear in puerto del carmen, check out playa de pocillos. We stayed in the Don paco castillo apartments.
