WiiMote Problem and Zelda

I had a strange problem last night in that one of my Wii Motes - home and + button would not work while playing Zelda but were fine on the Wii menu. I tried my second Wiimote and that worked fine. Any idea why this would be happening?

Ok I rang Nintendo cust care and they thought this problem was starnge and advised just returning controller to shop. the controller came with Wii play and I bought it in smyths will they just exchange the controller I bought it on the 19th dec so I am within 28days

They should. All they'll have to do is give you a replacement controller and then send off your faulty one to Ninty.

Same thing happened to me last week. Reset the console and it was fine since.
Before that I also had a time where the power button wouldn't turn off the Wii...also a one off.

Well I tried iton Wii Sports last night and it was Impossible to play tennis using it. Have smyths no stock of controllers thats would be disapointing. But at least If I get my money back then I can get it in my local xtra vision which seem to have plenty of copies of wii play
