Anyone have any thoughts on the pros and cons of drinking Bottle Conditioned Beers straight from the bottle ? Apart from the occasional sediment issue I'd imagine it should be ok....

I prefer to drink from the glass, as you get the aroma, which I reckon is at least 50% of the taste. Sediment wouldn't bother me (unless it was extreme). Also you tend to get more 'gluging' when drinking from the bottle, which would probably make it more gassy I think. Personal preferance I suppose, but my preferance is the glass (ideally the 'right' glass for the beer if I have it - eg a Duvel glass for Duvel etc.)

I also prefer drinking for a glass, all though you could drink a hefe from the bottle if it doesn’t foam to much!

The cons of drinking a BC beer from the bottle are the same as the cons for drinking any beer from a bottle (with, I guess the added sediment issue). It's just not how beers are supposed to be drank.
As Ken said, aroma, appearance, colour, head, lacing etc. are all part of the beer drinking experience.
