    I only get RTR's more better for the beginner, I always end up striping down the truck so i know it like the back of my hand;) A kit usauly comes with better parts than the RTR equivilent but require more maintance and set up skills. Thats why i recommend a RTR for beginners;)

    well i suppose it also depends on what you want to use the model for. if you just want to play around in a carpark or field the i would say RTR is a better suggestion, but, if you are planning on racing then self-build is the only way to go, imho of course ;).

    well i am starting but the 1st race of the season isn't until March. So i technically dont race, but ask me the same question in 4 months time :)
