I presume you mean can it be unlocked via CODE ?

Yes, but only the network operator can provide the code, otherwise it requires a cable and an online account or special hardware

Hey lads my name's Paul, i'm french, i was in ireland as an exchange student from september to the 15th of december and i there bought a Sony Ericson K750 at Meteor but I am now back to France and I would like to know if you knew a way for me to get the unlock code for it because my french sim card won't work in my phone, i saw on the forum that you guys could get unlock codes so that's why i asked, my IMEI says 35255701-845549-6-12.
I phoned Meteor before I left and they said I had to spend more than 130€ credit to get the phone, but I can't as I'm not Ireland, buying top ups now that i'm abroad would be kind weird like ^^, using an Irish sim card, paying roaming charges, all this while having a french sim card, no way

so I hope you guys can help me, thanks, and as you guys say in Ireland, GLUCK!

If Meteor wont give you the code the only way to unlock is via cable, its not difficult, I'm sure if you check Google you will find an unlocking shop near you, typically costs €20

@frenchpaulie, call them now. there's a new thing where they have to give you the code when requested. their international number is +353 1 430 7085

When I enter the codes nothing happens.

With previous Nokias when I entered the code the phone just unlocked but with this one the code just remains on the screen and nothing happens, it's strange.

Trying putting in a sim from another network, the phone should then prompt you for the code

for every WORKING unlocking code that is provided if you have paypal i will pay 25p per working code via paypal.for those that dont have paypal id still be very gratefull if you could help

Needs a hardware clip to unlock, if you are around Dublin or Wicklow can do it for you

im in darlington england....is there any pass codes or does it have to be done through a usb data cable and software?...and if so...i have the cable all i need is the software....does anyone have that?
