Can you pick up channel 5 on sky digital here in Ireland. I know channel 4 in on no. 142 now. Can you tune it in like you can UTV? What are frequency details?

You can buy a Freeview card on E-Bay that will let you view Channel 5. Only problem with it is that they usually run out after a year and you need to switch cards to get from normal viewing to the Freeview channels.

I have bought 2, one is still working and one died after about 6 months. Sellers usually put in this disclaimer to cover themselves

if you have a card where Channel 4 and 5 show the "subscribe to this message" then leave your card in the box for 24 hours or so and they should reappear

Sky also changed the cards a few years back which meant 1,000's of cards were then made useless but there is no time limit on the cards themselves
