I gave up on Smallville during Season 4 because I felt they were threading the same things over and over. I really don't miss it. Looking forward to Brothers and Sisters

Actually TG4 is usually a good 2 or 3 weeks ahead of E4 so it's not ridiculous to think it will be starting before january. Season 3 started on the 26th of December last year.

The OC only started in the states in mid November I think, the 6th episode of the season only aired on Thursday evening. My guess TG4 will get it the same week.

I'm currently watching 4x07 and, for what it's worth, it's easily the best season since season one. The sense of fun is back in the show (jeez, I wonder what recent change enabled that..)! Characters look like they're having fun and Taylor is excellent.

MUCH better than the last two years and, since this is probably its last season, a good way to go out.

The OC starts on Monday January 8th on TG4. No word on the time yet, although I assume it will be 9 pm like last year. I am really looking forward to it myself as I am a Canadian living in Ireland and I feel really out of the loop being so far behind in the episodes! Anyway, its Jan 8th - can't wait!

Fox announced today that this would be the last series. So savour these 16 episodes! It's going to finish airing in the US on Feb 22nd.

No surprise really. The writing was on the metaphorical wall for this show when it was pitched against "Grey's Anatomy" and "C.S.I: Crime Scene Investigation". What's good is that it's going out on a high note if the first half of the season is anything to go by. It will leave some nice memories which it wouldn't have done if it had ended last year.

I am completely shocked the OC was cancelled! I know I shouldn't be since Fox only ordered 16 episodes for this season and ratings were reaching an all time low, i still never exected them to cancel it. Especially when shows like one tree hill got a full season. I can tell you I never saw one tree hill outlasting the OC at any stage!

well o.t.h. is on a much smaller network[cw] so it is expected it gets away with much smaller ratings

but 4million for a fox show is VERY bad

The new CW Network are interested in picking it up when Fox are done, so there's hope left yet.

If you used to be a fan and arent going to watch because the last series was rubbish, I'd recommend that you do watch it! It's honestly much better than it's been since the 1st series. Taylor Townsend is an absolute legend! Getting rid of Marissa was the best thing they ever did.

And there's only 16 episodes, so if you've watched this far you may aswell stick around to the end!

aye................watched it cause there was nothing else on and i kinda wanted to know what direction they have taken the show

its much better than the pure trash that was seasons 2 and 3 , but is still not a patch on the first half of season 1...........but is very watchable

but wasnt the best thing i saw last night.i discorved a little show called Six Feet under on more4.............god bless series reruns!

Six Feet Under = Best Show of all time.

Great start to the season. Both dark and funny in all the right places. I'd swear they were shooting it on different stock or lighting it differently aswell. Julie was especially brilliant.
