Mods feel free to move this..

I've wondered about this before, but having watched the Villa/Chelsea match last night, it struck me that the supremely knowledgeable people here at AH might provide the correct answers.
What is the pint glass symbol, located in the bottom right corner of the screen, for? Why is it there? Why is it empty? Why doesn't it appear on all games? Where can i get one?

    Cheers

Pubs and such places have to pay sky extra because they're displaying to the public, the pint represents this fact.

It is basically there so that if any Sky inspector comes into the pub they can see that they are paying the publican rate - it is not a domestic feed.

Another way for Sky to make yet more money!!
