I started on the pill last month, and was quite confident with how I was taking, what it was doing etc and had all the questions I had answered, but I just wanted to double check something now..

Firstly I know I'm covered contraceptively for the 7 day break which I'm on at the moment so that's grand. During the first 7 day break would it be normal to have no bleeding? Still a few days to go so I'm not at all stressed, just wondering. I know when I was using other hormonal contraceptives it took a while for my body to fit back into any kind of cycle. Is it the same for the pill?

It can take a while, it depends on your body's reaction.
I know it used to take 2 to 3 days for me when I was at first on the pill for bleeding to start.

If you are not happy ring and check with your dr or if you mind starts going loop the loop buy a pregancy test to reasure yourself.

I take the last pill in my pack on friday and I normally don't start bleeding until the following Friday, so it takes me 6/7 days.

'For the first one it is completely normal to have little or no bleeding. When your body is familiar with the pill you're bleeding will become very very regular and also very light as well as that it won't last as long as it does when you're not on the pill'
