Review of year on RTE1 now. Worth a look. Looks like it's repeated at 2 pm tomorrow on RTE1.

To be fair, they put in a lot of effort - first time that I can recall that they didn't just have Bryan Dobson sitting in the gallery at the start, followed by Voiceovers and straps explaining the stories. And the fact that the DOG was left off was good.

But they only had a few seconds on February's riots. That was definitely deserving of more coverage. And at the very start, when they zoomed out in that intro from the newsroom - very dodgy camerawork. If you miss the news review tomorrow and want to see what I'm talk about, check out the opening moments of Test The Nation tomorrow. If it's any way like the last one, it'll happen.
