I can't remember making any last year. I've a few goals for 2007 which I hope to achieve, but I'm not making any resolutions that come into effect bang on 12am New Years day.

Excercise. Did that till September, then I took up a martial art, figured that counted so I stopped the excercise. For 2007, I plan to do both.

    Pass my driving test.
I had it booked for last week, but they screwed up, and had to reschedule it until next month, ruining my year.

It was to spend more of my hard earned cash and of course it didn't happen, I'm still Scrooge McDuck. :)

6 digit figure on a house didn't count?:p (you did buy a house, right?)

I made one, and kept it.

I'd compete at a fit & lean 120kgs (Judo) and place in the nationals.

Failed, although I got Silver in last years!.

I thought you bought a house... didn't that make a bit of a dent in your savings?
mine was to get fit and to get off with a hottie... (yep... i really am that shallow...)
still haven't got around to doing anything about the first:o

Ah yeah, there is that I suppose. I kind meant enjoying it more and not paying such a massive amount in one sum but, travel or spend it on more worthless gadgets. :)

I'm not depressed but I don't make resolutions as I'm perfectly happy with how I'm living my life. I don't need January 1st to decide to change anything, if it needs changing it gets changed. Think positive.

My 2006 resolution was to forget my resolutions by Jan 2th.
    Kept that one (I think).

My new years resolution last year was not to make any new years resolutions. I think I passed with flying colours.

    That's what mine was too.

This year I'm going for a more normal route, I'm going to try to lose weight, but I desperately need a job as well.

    Get a new job-done!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,350 ✭✭✭Lust4Life

    I had several.

    1. Repaint my bathroom. Done. Even put up tiling and did an expert job of it.
    2. Find a new job that I like. Done.
    3. Sand and refinish my livingroom floor - not done. It will wait until spring 2007.
    4. Achieve my diet goal weight. Exceeded.

That's a good one actually... might go for that this year. (should be easy, seeing as my subscription runs out today)
