    Hey folks,

I had never heard of this program, but my brother told me he got it on DVD (after having seen it when it was aired in the early 90s).

I'll get a loan of him in a couple of weeks, but I'm just wondering what others' opinions of it is. He says it's brilliant, and IMDB gives it 9/10.

I'm a bit of a political nerd, and have recently finished watching the final series of the West Wing, so need something to fill the void :p God forbid I have no TV series to watch!

    Thoroughly excellent.

I have the box set too, and its very sharp. Ian Richardson is a right bastard as Francis Urquhart. The story is set as if John Major never existed, it starts with him being Maggie Thatcher's chief whip, yet she is never referred to as her, you know it is her. His pieces direct to the camera are a real insight into the character, leaves you want to know how much more devious he can get.

The ending to "The Final Cut", the last part of the trilogy, a brilliant peice of TV.
