    Hi
Just after getting a tv from the uk. Tried to tune it in but found the tv only supports UHF frequency's. Ive heard of a type of converter that will convert vhf to uhf frequencies. Can some one suggest a good cheap one and where in dublin i could get one.

Probably the simplest solution is to get an old video recorder that has a VHF/UHF tuner and plug that into your TV, and watch the VHF channels on it.

I think you could get 1 in peats,or maplins 20euro approx .You can attach vcr to the scart,or tune it thru uhf channel 36,tune in the stations on the vcr for now.
