Dublin Bus "To/from"

The timetable for route 7 includes the note "k - To/from Shankill" in boths directions, e.g. the 1825 departure "from" Loughlinstown Pk. The route normally operates O'Connell Street - Loughlinstown Pk - Shankill or O'Connell Street - Cherrywood ('7C')

Does this mean the 1825 k bus operates from (a) Loughlinstown Pk - Shankill or (b) Shankill - Loughlinstown Pk - O'Connell Street?

Perhaps this isn't the best example but where the same letter is used for "To/from", it gets confusing. It gets more confusing, the more sub-terminii are involved.

Perhaps a better example is morning P buses on route 66 that appear to operate from Pearse Street "To Parkgate Street only".

I suspect they actually operate Parkgate Street - Maynooth

In the first example they operate from Shankill to O'Connell St

In the Second example they operate from Parkgate St to Maynooth. The words "or From" should be in the timetable

While sense can be made of those two (even if the 66 is explicitly wrong

), its not so clear with other routes where the alternative terminus or route detour is halfway between the main terminii.
