yeah ten grand or so spent on a ****ing corsa or some such thing. he sould just buy a decent car from the start and be done with it. Although it's not like he'll be around long enough to appreciate a new car. Proof that evolution works...

Absolutely bloody right. I honestly can't understand those people. What in the name of God goes through their minds? Must be something along the lines of:

"Yeah, I'll get an utter piece of si1te Corsa or Punto and put laughably bad cosmetic modifications onto it along with a exhaust the diameter of a corporation rubbish bin. The car will still be slow and crap, but screw it, it looks like the vomit of a donkey and makes the noise of a much-amplified fart. Great!"

Genuine petrolheads hate these people. Muppets.

    Do you love it?

Scooter - Behind The Cow - Scooter's new single for 2007.

Seriously, this is based on KLF (What Time Is Love?*) and Blue Oyster Cult (Don't Fear The Reaper). And it's just as bad as every other Scooter song, but somehow funnier.

    Needs more cowbell, though.

    * for KLF geeks - it has the synth-style of the original(s) (the infamous doo-doo-doo-DOO-do) but the lead-in words are based on the intro to the later "America - What Time Is Love"). If you're not a KLF geek you won't care what the difference is.

I wonder what those two guys in the navy shirts did after the song ended. Or perhaps they're plastic.

<3 KLF. I want to burn a million quid and fire a machine gun at a Brit Awards audience.

Awful scooter song (as usual) but reminds me of raving to scooter in the education office with you and Luke.

I discovered (a couple of days ago) that this legendary bit of television has made it onto not YouTube, but Google Video.

KLF and Extreme Noise Terror at the Brits (machine gun just at the end)

This is truly one of the greatest moments in pop history. Only made better by the facts that

    a) Sir George Solti (famous classical conductor) apparently tried to walk out (the poor pet was in the front row ... hehe)
    b) they (KLF) wanted to throw sheep's blood at the audience, but the other hand (Extreme Noise Terror) were hardcore vegans and said no.
    c) despite this, they still left a sheep (deceased) at one of the afterparties with a note saying "I died for ewe - bon appetit"
    d) they got the Best British Band award. Shared with Simply Red (!). Didn't collect it, but when they eventually got the lump of clay that is the award, buried it near Stonehenge.

I watched it last night with the family. I think I was the only one who really enjoyed it. It was the first time I saw it.

The Jimmy Cake Dublin Gone, Everybody Dead

They're playing tonight in Whelans, I can't wait! It's been well over a year since they've played. New members in the band so I'm interested to see how they sound now.

Can't watch it due to feckin dialup connection, but the title itself "Captain Planet in Belfast" was enough to make me laugh out loud. Can't wait to see it properly.

omg, omg, omg lol. That had me in absolute stitches.

But I <3 Captain Planet all the same. It was lightyears ahead of its time. Ecofriendliness in the 80s, and aimed at kids too. Shame it wasn't more popular.

    Captain Planet ftw :)

Listening: Eyes Open by Snow Patrol. Who would have thought people from Northern Ireland could sound well?

Watching: Looking at Bebo. I have a new old friend.

    Touching: Almost touch-typing.
