Eircom Speed upgrades this Christmas?

Anyone know anything about Eircom increasing the speed of broadband again this Christmas/New Year? Just after seeing this post on the Ireland Offline forum which seems to suggest that there might be? http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055028809
