    Pretty much the definition of "character actor" and as such this thread really should be film forum, he was a great big-screen heavy with a dark brooding presence. His Monster in Young Frankenstien was a real turn up for the books.

    Thats actually pretty sad, I know someone who said he wished that Peter Boyle was his grandad. Never a fan of everybody loves raymond, but he always seemed to get the biggest laughs.
