Problem with flies in Velux windows

    Hi,

We have recently moved into a new house and we are having an issue with flies in our velux windows. When we moved in initially here were up on 100 dead (some alive) flies in the seals of the velux windows, they all fell out when we opened them. We have opened them all and hoovered them out but every time we open them there are still a couple of flies falling out.

Has anybody had a similar issue to this?
If I spray fly killer onto the seals will it damage the windows?

    Thanks

They probably took up residense while the house was being built, give it a few weeks and the problem should (hopefully) go away.

    Cluster flies, harmless but horrible.
I had plenty of them but tbh they don't bother me much, they live in the insulation.
