play.com extra charges ?

Hi
I ordered a book from play.com (€8.50) .
and now on my online bank statement i see they are charging me this
plus 2 other 1€ decuctions!!

I don't understand this extra 2€ i am being charged ?? is it maybe because I use
a debit VISA Electron card ?

I read through the T&C's and there was no mention of it,
They just got back to me with a ticket number.... if i don't have it resolved by
tomorrow I'll give 'em a call...

anyone know if this is a standard extra charge ?

Hi

are the they debits or is it 1 debit and 1 credit? I know couple of times seen that they made a charge and refund it.

I know what you mean but no, they are 2 deductions,
After investigating i see that some shops charge an extra 2-3% for VISA electron , but not 25% !!!

ok it appears this is just an account verification operation,
they will refund my money soon, they don't charge extra with V Electron.

It should only happen the once too. When you place a new order it will not happen again.
