Would we ever know?

So if you dropped dead today would we (Boards.ie) ever know about it or would you just fade away with the odd "what ever happened to [insert name]?"

I know plenty of people on here in real life so am sure it would get a small mention ... or at least I hope it would!

I carry my boards.ie donor card wherever I go.
Someone without a boards.ie username will get my identity whenever I pass away...
I just hope they treat it well...

well with the more frequent posters there absinthe (yes absinthe) would be noticed but i doubt people would think they are dead probbley just offline like powercut or exploding PC or internet mistake

I have a deal with Smccarrick that he would post details of my death if it happened, I would do the same for him, though hopefully that will not happen for a very long time.

Definitely not. Unless the two other boardsies i know in real life this cared to mention it. The only place i might have been missed is from the leaving cert forum, but that's all in the past now

The person behind r3nu4l dies every three months when a new stronger alpha-male successor beats his brains in with a large stone and becomes the new r3nu4l.

All r3nu4l's must use at least one smiley in each post

otherwise the younger males sense a weakness and get restless.

No, no-one on boards.ie would really know, someone might say "there's a lot less smilies on each thread these days!" but that's about it
