Possible to connect laptop to HD Ready LCD without VGA connector ?

    Does the laptop have s-video out? It's a small, circular, black connector that looks like a mouse (PS/2) port.

    If the laptop has VGA out you can also consider the use of a VGA to component adapter though they aren't so easy to come by but it will deliver better picture quality.

    It is unlikely the notebook has DVI out but on the remote chance it has then you can use the HDMI inputs on the TV for a digital link.
