    Hi there.Could anybody tell me which generation of Corolla is that liftback/hatchback?

    That version was sold new from 1983-1987 (i.e. 4th generation Corolla sold in Ireland).

    Personally, I always hated the look of that model....especially the rear end!

    Sold here from 83 to 86 with a slightly facelifted version sold in 86 and 87.

    There's one of those in the same dark blue colour still tootling around Galway City on old plates...always seem to see it near Lough Atalia....

    It's a Talbot anyway, not sure of the model.

    EDIT: I'm wrong, it's an FSO Polonez. The badge is quite similar to Talbot's.

    Yeah this is a Polonez, i think 2nd generation about 1985-1991(engines 1300-1600)
