***NTL DIGITAL OPTIONS *** - How much per year

    ALL.

    Q. Just wondering about the cost of NTL Digital (both Digital Select and Digital Max options)??

    BASIC ANALOGUE TV PACKAGE is €19.99 per month = €239.88 per year

    NTL DIGITAL SELECT = BASIC ANALOGUE TV PACKAGE (€19.99) + €5 = €24.99 per month = €299.88 per year.

    NTL DIGITAL MAX = BASIC ANALOGUE TV PACKAGE (€19.99) + €10 = €29.99 per month = €359.88 per year.

    However - NTL have a deal for both Digital Packages.
    NTL DIGITAL SELECT = FIRST 3 MONTH FREE
    NTL DIGITAL MAX = FIRST 3 MONTHS HALF PRICE

    My question is: how much do you pay a YEAR for both the DIGITAL SELECT and DIGITAL MAX packages INCLUSIVE of the NTL Deal.

    Please can someone comment who has actual BEEN BILLED by NTL.

    Digital Max includes the Digital Select channels, so it's an either/or deal.

    So if the offer still applies (and you'll need to ring NTL for that, not ask here), it'll be 19.99 + 5 for first 3 months, and 19.99 + 10 thereafter.

    Good question. Unfortunately some (notice I used the some quantifier not ALL) NTL Customer Sales Staff are completely incompetent.

    I have rung them on three different occasions with three seperate answers. Hence this post.

    Just made an Enquiry to NTL regarding Digital TV and Broadband.
    Wouldn't go to NTL except there Broadband package is reasonably good value
    (i.e. I prefer having "Digital TV + Broadband" than "Telephone Rental + Broadband")

    There are currently running a few offers:
    1) Free Basic TV for a year if you subscribe to their Broadband (2MB or > package)
    2) Free Broadband (2MB or > package) for first three months
    3) Free Digital TV (Select Pack) for 3 months

    Cost will work out as follows:
    First 3 months: €0 per month
    Next 9 Months: €30 per month
    After That: €50 per month

    N.B. This is based on the old ntl cost. For new prices see NTL Website

    Now with the NTL Digital - 27 November 2006 price increases the Packages (with the offer included are as follows):

    BASIC ANALOGUE TV PACKAGE is €21.49 per month = €257.88 per year

    So NTL Digital Select (with the offer included is): €21.49 (for 3 months) and €21.49 + €4.50 (for 9 months) = €298.38 per year

    So NTL Digital Max (with the offer included is): €21.49 + €4.75 (for 3 months) and €21.49 + €9.50 (for 9 months) = €362.13 per year.

    thanks dmann thinking of getting this myself,

    i'm also thinking of getting my broadband from them, does anyone now the cost of digital select + 2mb broadband per month ?

    is there any deals on ? sorry i'd check the site myself but damn firewall in work wont let me !!
