    Fitz 1/2

I've ajo, it was raised to 7 in ep, I call in the cut-off/mp. About 3 callers + the bb.

Flop comes a84 rainrow or something similiar.

Ep makes it 25, 3 callers before it gets around to me.

    I fold.

No with a raise of that amount and 3 callers your either against 2 pair or a set. Id imagine a set of 8s to be honest

easy fold... even if you're not against two pair or a set... there's still the AK/Q.

Yeah that's what i thought at first and it was autofold, but in reflection, most of the time (this is the fitz) a hand that has me dominated would have re-raised pf? y/n?

And the ep's raise could just be a standard c-bet?

The number of callers was off-putting but not unusual, and they could be calling with any ace to middle pair. Or a poxy two pair.

Could a call and a reevaluation on the turn be better? I do have position.

man... this fitz game sounds like a bloody goldmine.
someone would make a standard continuation from ep with 5 players - without a hand... people calling with any a and mid pairs.... that game must be a very lucrative as long as you're not in an unlucky mood

lol. there was a couple of chinese guys who were playing no fold'em hold'em that's all, don't get you're hopes up.

So what were you hopeing to hit? An ep raise and 3 callers ahead of you AJ isnt looking too good preflop.

No matter what way you try and analyse this, even with position (which imo is irrelevant here), a pot raise and 3 callers, the AJ goes straight in the muck.
    I'd def fold AK here.

Why? We're way ahead of everyone elses range. And we've position too.

I think AK might make the hand interesting, though preflop we'd probably have played it differently. AJ isn't even close to a call here IMHO.

Its a FOLD even in the fitz. I don't think its even close to anything else.

Did by any chance you fold the best hand ?

A fold is good here. V. unlikely you would be getting dough in with the best of it.
As the game goes on you should find much tastier spots to throw in the tank.

It's in the second last paragraph in my blog if you're so curious...

I just wanted to talk to people whos views hadn't been altered by any degree by results based thinking.
