    Certainly not a bargain,doesnt even play Divx.
    I bought a good Liteon DVD recorder last week for 120 euro.

    Liteon LVW-5115GHC but there are a few models at that price.
    Its a fine player

    I think Lidl are losing sight of what a bargain is. You could buy and dvd recorder and a separate vcr for half that price.

    Hi, I also bought the lidl video recorder/dvd combo.
    I have been using it to copy vhs tapes to Dvd in ep mode. I have a 26 inch tv, and the quality of the copies seem very good.
    Okay it would be nice if it played mpg files, and if I could fast forward or backward through an audio file. But my computer has a tv card, so the first thing isn't a big deal, and I guess the second isn't either.
