I have a Netopia modem supplied by Eircom. It is wireless enabled and works fine. I also have an Apple Airport Extreme Base Station which I want to use for wireless printing but I want to connect the Netopia and the Airport wirelessly.

Is this possible, and if so how do I do it?

    Thanks.

I presume you are using the Extreme on a Mac so in the Airport Admin utility:
<MacHD>/Applications/Utilities/Airport Admin Utility (Version 4.2 is what I'm looking at) select the "WDS" Tab and make the Airport unit either a Remote or Relay basestation (not sure which off hand) Instructions are provided in the window.

    Hope this helps somewhat.

Thanks ZENER. I'll give that a go.

I have been trying for a few days now to get Airport Express to act as a range extender to a Netopoia 2247 with eircom as ISP. Lots of hints from Googling but no success yet. Did you manage to get the Extreme base station linked in wirelessly? If not did you link via ethernet? Would appreciate any advice as I have a new Mac and want to locate it in a current dead spot in the house.
