Thinking of ordering a psp from play-asia, am I right in thinking that psp's and games are region free? thanks in advance

Yes. Games are region free, not sure about the UMD movies though, not that it is a big deal anymore.

UMD movies aren't region free, FYI. however you always can create yours in your PC and passthem to a memory stick...
