MG Midget - any good?

Would love to buy an MG Midget - was wondering if anyone had any words of advice (or warning). Will probably travel to England to get one as the condition of English cars is so much better. Thanks.

Hi There,
Just saw your post, I have an MG Midget that I was going to put away for the winter and sell next spring. I absolutely love the car and I would say she is in good condition, I saw some dogs while I was looking to buy it.
I have two small kids and the amount of time I get to use the car is minimal. It's an original Irish car and as such doesn't suffer from the corrosion that some UK cars from the period suffer from. If you want to take a look let me know.
