    Hi all,

Just received the ADSL router from BT.I have a monitored alarm and I am just wondering whether a splitter and microfilter are the same thing?

    Thanks,

    Patrick:confused:

No. A splitter will just allow one phone socket to take two phones. A microfilter will filter out certain frequencies depending on what the filter is intended to be plugged into, a phone of a broadband enabled computer.
