Just received an email from MS inviting me to download OneCare Beta.

Anybody else had a look at it? Opinions?

The general consensus has been that it is a fairly decent offering but a touch on the simplistic side however it is targeting the basic home user so I suppose that is to be expected.

FWIW I tried to download the 90 day free trial and got an error on installation. It has a troubleshooting guide which I followed but also got a different error. Next step it recommended was to send them an email which I did. Maybe 12 hours later I got a polite, helpful reply which had detailed instructions on what to do and had a file attached to it which solved the problem. I was pretty impressed.
I have no idea if the actual product itself is any good as yet although it did appear to find some kind of virus that Norton AV 2006 had not found.
