    Hi,

Where would I find out if IE have any plans to stop the 19.00 service to Longford at the Enfield station. I have sent them two emails but have not received any reply.

When you see the amount of people that get the bus at 19.00 to Enfield I think this service would definitely be viable for IE. The 2/3 minutes that it would take the train to stop and start again should not disrupt the rest of the journey timetable that much.

Don't you mean the 19.00 Sligo?

There was an article in the Lenister Leader the other week in which Deputy Stagg said the service was to be improved for Kilcock. I would assume that any improvements at Kilcock would also be mirrored at Enfield.

    Thanks for the reply

Yep 19.00 to Sligo, via Longford!

Anyway, was this just electioneering from Stagg or will it definitely happen. It is about time they improved the commuter train sercvice to Enfield and Kilcock given the growing populations.

I don't think you have much hope of a modern, progressive organisation such as IE answering those hi-tech e-mail thingys.

Your best option would be to ring and if (when) you get nowhere, put it into writing. I am on the Enfield Combined Residents Association, PM me if you want to come along to our meetings. We may be able to write a letter or something.

IE are reviewing the schedules for all routes, AFAIK.
