Currently no third party unlock, only via code from Vodafone themselves

Could be a problem with the firmware, maybe get it manually unlocked instead.

What does the phone say when you enter the codes?

Try putting in a SIM from a different provider, phone will then prompt for code

Only other way is to get it unlocked via hardware, if you are around Dublin or Wicklow i can do this for you

I'm nearly sure you'll only get the unlock code for this phone from Orange France only or bring it to a professional unlocker.

Can only be unlocked via special hard/software combo and if it has a bootloader version of 6.36 or later the phone has to be opened.

Check bootloader ver by powering off and then powering on with * and # keys held

I don't believe there is a third party solution at the moment, the L6i and L7ii are manufactured by Mitsibushi for Motorola.
